Our friends, Luis and Amy, are expecting a baby girl named Mia.
Last night, we had a shower to celebrate her upcoming arrival!
Amy has PIH (pregnancy induced hypertension) and has been on bedrest for several weeks. She was able to sneak out for a few hours last night, but only in a wheelchair.
She had her two personal labor and delivery nurses to keep an eye on her though.

I was also recruited to be the official photographer, so I have about 250 more pictures of the night, but these were some of my favorites. Can you tell that I like Black and White?

Because of her PIH, Amy will probably have to deliver early. We are praying that she can make it to 37 weeks. Mia will do better, but also because I will be on vacationuntil then and I am supposed to be her labor nurse!
We can't wait to meet you, Mia, but hang in there for a few more weeks!

He is so funny...when he sees my camera, he starts smiling and posing. What a ham!
