Well, Kaden is gone and the house seems so quiet without him. I really miss having him, but I am so happy that his mom and dad are home safe. They had a great time, but they were ready to be back with their little guy.
The house won't stay quiet for long though. We are babysitting my parents dog while they are spring-breaking in Hawaii. Rusty's brother, sister-in-law, and our beautiful niece Addison are coming to visit this week. Then, my brother, Rusty's dad and brother will be staying here the next week to go to the Shell Houston Open. This is the first year that we have lived in the neighborhood during the golf tournament and it will be great for them to just walk over to the course. One of the few perks that I enjoy from our Redstone membership is the "Redstone Villa" at the tournament. It is a tent on the 18th green where you can watch the players finish while sitting in the air conditioning, while eating all the "free" (not really free if you calculate what membership fees and ticket prices cost) food and drink that you can stand. They also offer massages. Now, that is my kind of golf watching! I would be the enthusiast that my husband is, if I could watch golf like that every day! I don't think that we purchased tickets for that this year though because of all that is going on with the ivf. I guess I will just sit at home in my own air conditioning and eat my free food and drink with the tournament on the tv. It's not quite the same though. The boys will have fun walking around in the humid Houston weather following the players. More power to them.
Now, if we could only get a tent like that at aTm football games.......

Hi Jennifer!
I'm so glad you left a comment on our blog! It's fun to click around and find people you know. I will add you to our links. Brad and I didn't meet each other at A&M, though we both went to Central at the same time so we know different circles of people that sometimes collide.
He will read this post and be slightly jealous that he'll be watching the tournament on tv. :)
Jenni ~ I didn't know you guys lived in Fall Creek now...thought you were still downtown somewhere. Guess you didn't know that my office looks out to the 18th green of Redstone, huh?! Yep...I'm obviously just right down the street from you guys. We should meet up sometime for lunch. At least there's a Chili's out here now! Email me :)
Mark, my dad, and I are all planning to go to the golf tournament on March 6. Maybe we'll see Rusty out there!
