My parents got married 19 years ago today and I just wanted to tell them "Happy Anniversary"!
I was 8 (almost nine) years old when my parents got married and I had the honor of standing in their wedding.
My mother died of breast cancer when I was 6 and my brother was 10. So, when my parents got married, my mom became and instant wife and mother. Not only was she having to learn how to prosper in her new roles, she was also having to help two children learn how to grieve, how to grow, and how persevere. I cannot imagine how difficult it was to be my mom. I put my parents through a lot of hard times. They spent so much time on their knees for me. I will probably never understand the heartache that I put them through, but I know how thankful I am that they stood by me. My parents have prayed for me, supported me, been proud of me, cried for me, laughed with me and loved me through so many seasons of life. I cannot thank them enough for all that they have done for me.

When I read your post, I responded with tears of joy and amazement one more time of the wisdom you have for such a young woman. God has brought you through so much in your young years of life.
