Our First Date

My new friend Erica and I had our first date yesterday! We met through some mutual friends and then became friends in this crazy blogworld. It was crazy to me that I felt this attached to someone and I had never even met them in person! So, yesterday we met for lunch. Now, it isn't so weird to call her my friend. I am so bummed, we were talking so much that I totally forgot to take a picture!
She has been such a blessing to Rusty and I as we walk our journey of infertility. We have been so encouraged by her and Colin's faith as they walk their own road. Though we have so many people loving and encouraging through this, it is just different when you have someone that understands. I love having someone to lean on that knows what I am feeling. I can tell her all of the selfish thoughts that I have that would sound crazy to others, but she knows exactly what I mean (and has probably felt it too!)
Many of you have followed her story and have joined me in praying for her and Colin. Please continue to do so as they start this new journey in their lives! I am overjoyed for them and for the blessing that they are carrying right now!
