Options, Options, Options

This afternoon, Rusty and I had a follow-up appointment with our fertility doctor to discuss "what went wrong?" and "where do we go from here?". It was an appointment that I have been very excited about, but dreading at the same time.

We pretty much knew what he was going to say to us. We had briefly discussed what our next steps might be, but had not gone into detail because we were hoping to never get to this point. I was excited to hear what our options are, but dreaded hearing what I knew he was going to say....Short of a miracle, having a baby with my egg and my husband's sperm is not going to happen.

So, we began to discuss all of our options- and we do have several. In the world of fertility, there are endless options and roads to follow. Every couple has their own situation and factors and what is right for one, is not right for the other. It is overwhelming to consider all of the possibilities and carry the burden of trying to make that decision.

Right now, we have gone into research and prayer mode. We are going to research all of our options, but more importantly, surrender all of this to the Lord. There is no way that we can make this decision. We are praying for wisdom and that God would make His will for our family abundantly clear. That He will give both of us a peace about how we are to proceed, so that we can move forward without any doubts that we are walking the right path.

Will you please join us in praying? We desperately want to follow God's hand in this and do not want to take the wrong path based on our own desires. We want to be parents so badly and we trust God to make that happen. We know that He already has our child formed in His hand and is just waiting to give us that precious gift, in His perfect timing.

I will be praying for you guys and am in complete agreement that God has this all worked out. He already knows what amazing parents you will be to the sweet child he blesses you with. In whatever way He provides that child, it will be a gift from him.

You all are continually in our prayers. And we are trusting God with you and know that He has a PERFECT plan for your family. I will continue to ask that He make His next step perfectly clear; that you will have the peace that surpasses all understanding.

We still believe! And I can hardly wait to meet the little one(s) that God has already hand-picked for you two!

XOXO

When I started praying for God's will - not mine, my life changed. And believe or not, this was not that long ago.
If God can create the heavens and the earth, He can create what you need!
I'm praying for you Jenni!

I don't know how you do it, but your words give me so much hope. I mean we are supposed to give the words of wisdom. You are teaching me so much and I truly mean it when I say that I am so blessed to be on this journey with you and can't wait to see this come full circle on so many different levels. Praying for clarity during this time!
