Every single time I go to a wedding, I get a little bit more disappointed with my own. Does anyone else ever feel that way?
Last night, we went to a wedding that was absolutely beautiful! Everything was done in black and white and it was so gorgeous. I wish I had done that! Oh well.
There are a lot of things that I would do differently that day, but the one thing I would not change is the man that was waiting for me at the end of the aisle! Who cares what color the bridesmaid's dresses are, what time the ceremony was, and what the centerpieces were- when you have such a wonderful man that wants to spend the rest of his life with you. That is what it is all about after all.
On a side note-
The picture that we took with the bride and groom was at the very end of the night, as we were leaving. I was sweaty and had baby spit-up all over me! Here I was, a total wreck next to this gorgeous bride- who is also Rusty's high school girlfriend, by the way! I was feeling pretty bad for him last night, that he has to spend forever with Frumpy Frumperson instead of Barbie!!
Of course, being the amazing man that he is, he reassured me that he only has eyes for me and that he loves me just the way that I am. Just one more reason why I wouldn't trade him for the world. Only a good man can make you feel pretty with spit-up down the front of your black dress that you forgot to have altered and hangs like curtains on you!

I totally agree with you about the wedding thing though. There are SO many things I would change. Like you, I got the most important part right though :)
Jenni I can't believe that you would even think for a second that you are frumpy frumperson! You are so gorgeous! And have the cutest little figure!!!! You smile lights up a room! and you have beautiful skin, and I could go on and on! Rusty is blessed to have you and you are blessed to have him! A match made from Heaven!!!

I agree with you about the wedding things...they are coming up with so many new fun ideas, especially that one where they bust out a different crazy dancing song for the first dance unexpectedly, a personal favorite of mine :) We would have totally done that! I'm in agreement with all of these other ladies...you are beautiful! I also agree about the wedding day. At the end of it all, it's about the gift the Lord blessed us with in our husbands.
