Meet our newest friend, Uwayezunamariya. But, I think that in this house, she will be known simply as "Mariya".

Mariya is a 4 year old little girl in Rwanda that is living with AIDS. But the really special part is that her birthday is February 11th- the same as Holland's birthday.

Through Compassion, we are now sponsoring this sweet girl and I am so excited to get started. Just looking at her picture makes me smile. You gotta love the jean skirt! It is amazing to me how quickly I have fallen for her. I feel such a sense of responsibility and duty to her already.

This was my Mother's Day gift to myself. In the midst of throwing a pity party, I signed onto this site and read about all of the children that are in desperate need of sponsorship. I was quickly convicted of how selfish I was being. I am so blessed and have so much more than I have ever deserved.

So, in honor of Holland, we will do this one small thing to help change the life of a child forever. And in doing so, my heart that was hurting and empty suddenly began overflowing.

She is just way too cute for words. I love her, too. Did you know Chase and Laura are in the process of adopting a baby from Rwanda?

You have been close to my heart and in my prayers the past few days. I still believe...

Your love never ceases to amaze me. If there were more Jenn Woolley's out there the world would be such an amazing place!
