Independence Day in Atlanta

Rusty and I took advantage of the long weekend (and a Delta credit that needed to be used) and went to visit some family in Atlanta. We had a great time and it was good to see everyone, even if just for a few days.Rusty played hard all weekend with the kids (Tennis, swimming, water volleyball, basketball, javelin, baseball) and found that his body doesn't quite hold up as well as it used to. They really wore him out! Yesterday, Jordan hit a line drive and hit Rusty right in the face. It knocked him to the ground and gave him a bloody nose! My innovative husband quickly came up with a solution to that problem, though! The kids had a good time with fireworks and sparklers. After all the activity, we decided to take it little bit easy with some board games and Wii Rock Band.Hope you all had a good weekend and were able to get some time off to relax!

Jennifer,

Im not sure if you can reply to a comment...haven't figured that out yet so I am going to respond this way- I am delivering at Methodist Willowbrook, which is right by our house. So unfortunately, I can't meet you to get me through it, but the nurses were excellent there last time so I know I should be in good hands again.Too bad you don't work over here...
