Last night, we attended a gala in Beaumont in honor of my mother in law, Sharon. She was awarded a prestigious teaching award called the Reaud Award. She was bestowed this award because of her commitment, dedication, and excellence in her 29 year teaching career!
We are so proud of her and thanking God for His faithfulness and provision. Earlier this year, Hurricane Ike left their home with 4 feet of water in it. They lost almost everything and insurance only covered a very minimal portion of the damage. They have worked so hard to get their house back together using so much of their savings. Little did they know that God had this award in store for her which included a check for $10,000!!
