Please say a prayer...

Tonight, Rusty and I are hitting the road and heading to Austin because tomorrow morning is our appointment with the new specialist.
I am excited to hear his opinion and yet very nervous about what he is going to say. It could be a very tough day for us. If he agrees with our current doctor, we will be closing a very big door. But, I will at least feel like I can move forward without wondering if we pursued all of our options.

After our appointment, Rusty had a surprise weekend getaway planned for me! Unfortunately, he has had some work stuff come up and we are not sure how much of it we will be able to do, but he gets the credit for trying! I have been so blessed to have a husband that understands me and loves me the way that he does. From the very beginning of our relationship, he has taken on my "junk" as his own. He can't know exactly what my pain is like, but he certainly does everything in his power to protect me and help me heal from that pain. He intended on whisking me away just like he did last year to help shelter me from all that the weekend holds with Birthmother's Day and Mother's Day. Thank you, babe! You are the best! No matter what we end up doing, we will be together and that is all that matters.

Will you please be praying for this appointment? I know that the Lord has already gone ahead of us and will not be surprised with what this doctor has to say. I just want to have a heart that is prepared and a peace that no matter what, God is still in control.
