What's in a name?

For Christmas one year, Rusty gave me this great make-up bag. I really needed a travel bag and was very impressed that he thought of it. But, when I opened it up, I was very confused. I sat there for a minute, trying to figure out what he meant by this. I turned it towards him and said "Um, are you trying to tell me something?"
He looked at me completely clueless. "What do you mean?"
"Well, we have been married for over a year now and my last name is now Woolley, not Holland. What are you trying to tell me? Are you taking away my name?"
Only at that moment, did he realize what he had done! He wanted to return it, but I would not let him. It is too good of a story and we laugh about it every time I break out the bag.

I have used the Holland bag for several years now and it was starting to show it's age. So, for my birthday, I got a new one.
I guess that he has decided to keep me around for a little while longer.

And now I know where Holland comes from!

That is so funny!! Andrew would totally do the same thing. They always have the best of intentions, but sometimes they just don't get it quite right. :) Very cute story. I hope you had a wonderful birthday!
