Appointment

Many of you have asked how you can be praying, so I wanted to ask for your prayers tomorrow. We are scheduled to see the new specialist at 10am. This is the doctor that the fertility specialist in Austin referred us to.
The results of the tests that he runs tomorrow will give us our final direction and options of how/if we can proceed. Unfortunately, we will not get the results for several weeks, so we will have to be patient a little while longer. I definitely feel like patience is a virtue that the Lord is cultivating in both of us!
Though we are praying for good news, we are trying to prepare our hearts for whatever the results are. Our prayer is that we will have a total peace. We want to move forward, but only according to God's plan for our lives. If the news is not good, we want to be able to close that door and then focus on where to go from here.
I have said it before, but I want to thank you all again for your love and support during this time. Your prayers and encouragement have carried us through so many days! We love you all and look forward to the day that we are able to share our child's life with you. You see, we don't know how, but we believe with all of our hearts that one day, we will be parents. We know that God has had our child picked out for us all along and that He is protecting them until the day that He chooses to bring us together.
My prayer this week has been Joshua 3:5:
Joshua told the people, "Consecrate yourselves, for tomorrow the LORD will do amazing things among you."
Even when I cannot see how, I want to live my life believing and trusting that God is going to do great things!

You know I'll be praying. Check out Laura & Chases' blog at www.thebowersparable.blogspot.com
I also feel that there is a child for you and Rusty, we are just so anxious in the flesh it is hard to have patience. But wht a virtue to cultivate. Love you both.
